Rep. Rob Bresnahan today announced the launch of the “Women for Rob” Coalition, a growing network of more than 80 women across all five counties in the 8th Congressional District supporting his re-election campaign and his record of delivering results for Northeastern Pennsylvania families. The coalition will be co-chaired by Monroe County Republican Women Chair and Republican State Committee Member Shelli Bird and Mayfield Borough Council President Diana Campbell.
This announcement reflects the results-driven leadership Rep. Bresnahan was elected to deliver and the growing confidence women across the district have in his commitment to addressing the everyday challenges facing families throughout the region. Since taking office, Bresnahan has worked to strengthen access to quality healthcare, protect critical hospital services, support working families, and advocate for investments that better the lives of all Northeastern Pennsylvanians.
Monroe County Republican Women Chair, public school teacher, and mother of two Shelli Bird: “Working women and families across Northeastern Pennsylvania need leaders who understand the challenges they face every day. While Paige Cognetti cut paid maternity leave for Scranton city employees, Rep. Bresnahan has focused on supporting working families, lowering costs, and creating opportunities for the next generation.”
