Pittston, PA — Congressman Rob Bresnahan’s campaign today announced that he has earned the endorsement of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), which cited his leadership on infrastructure policy and deep understanding of the skilled trades workforce. NECA’s endorsement adds to a growing list of labor organizations throwing their support behind Bresnahan.
“NECAPAC is proud to endorse Congressman Rob Bresnahan for re-election to Pennsylvania’s 8th Congressional District,” said Marco Giamberardino, NECA Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Government & Public Affairs. “In just his first term, Congressman Bresnahan has demonstrated exactly the kind of leadership our industry needs in Washington.
“As Vice Chair of the House Subcommittee on Highways and Transit, he has been a consistent advocate for the infrastructure investments that create jobs and opportunities for our members. His introduction of the Water Infrastructure Modernization Act and the Supporting Apprenticeship Colleges Act reflect a deep, firsthand understanding of what it takes to build and sustain a skilled trades workforce.
“Congressman Bresnahan came to Congress as one of our own, and he has governed that way. NECAPAC looks forward to continuing our work together on behalf of the electrical contracting industry and the men and women who power this nation.”
The National Electrical Contractors Association represents thousands of electrical contracting firms that design, install, and maintain electrical systems across the United States. The organization advocates for policies that strengthen America’s infrastructure, expand energy development, and support apprenticeship and workforce training programs.
“As a former NECA electrical contractor, I am honored to have once again earned NECA’s endorsement,” said Congressman Rob Bresnahan. “The work NECA does advocating for electrical contractors across the country is indispensable, and I will always be an advocate for the high-paying, blue-collar careers created by the electrical contracting industry.”
